The Déjar Service is designed to be affordable.
But surely enterprise class solutions like this are costly to purchase, difficult to implement, and expensive to operate? They used to be!
However, we have spent a long time designing the Déjar service with ease of integration and economy of operation in mind.
There are four key areas of complexity that we have worked on to eliminate:
Internal Experts
Déjar people are experts in the billing process. Many of the complications in getting your documents archived and available to your staff, or your customers, can be handled efficiently, and immediately, by Déjar people.
We control the entire process, and back it up with excellent support.
Source Data
Many archiving products go back to the source data for their solution. They implement big expensive changes to the source data, and complex procedural changes to your business process.
But Déjar uses only the print spool in its solution.
Afterall, you have invested lots of time and expense in creating that print spool, but once your bills are printed the spool becomes just another expendable by-product of your billing process.
Software
Software this complex is expensive. (If you are interested in buying Déjar, see the product section of this website!).
However, as a service all the software remains under our control (no support or maintenance costs to pass on), and the incremental cost of producing one more image is minor, particularly amortised over relatively more images than a single user would generate.
Infrastructure
Our customers demand that the Déjar service is available 24 hours, 7 days a week. All the ancillary services implied in this service level would be prohibitively expensive to supply ourselves.
So we outsource.
Operating a Class 1 Data Centre facility is not Déjar's core business. We would rather spend our time, and more of the revenue you generate, on R&D - improving the product.
